New Higher Education Opportunities @ AHEC

Ardmore Higher Education Center actively seeks new programs to increase higher education opportunities in southern Oklahoma. The follow list represents some of the programs we are currently working on.


Adult Degree Completion Program

If you once attended college but never finished your degree, Oklahoma offers a statewide accelerated degree program tailored for working adults who want to finish their college degree. Now you can transfer your accumulated college credits into a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership. The degree is offered in a flexible format primarily through the Internet using an online format. A bachelor's degree can be earned in as little as 18 months. Students can actively examine their own experiences to earn up to 30 college credits. You must have a minimum of 72 credits, be 21 years of age and not enrolled as a full-time college student for at least one year, and have a minimum of 2.0 GPA in past college coursework. Bachelor of Science in Nursing
East Central University

The ECU Department of Nursing is offers a high quality baccalaureate nursing program in Ardmore that provides south central Oklahoma with accessible professionally delivered nursing care. This program prepares graduates to practice professional nursing in a variety of settings in rural, as well as urban, Oklahoma.
